Project information
As an avid archery hunter, I have become frustrated with the number of lame shots some of my fellow hunters have. Archery hunting takes practice, patience, and discipline. Without hunting the game population would become overpopulated and die of disease and starvation. A moral and ethical hunter should have true aim (practice) and the patience and discipline to only take true shots.
Unfortunately, with the explosion of the popularity of archery hunting over the past decade, there are more and more hunters that take shots they shouldn't and who's aim is not as true as it should be. These means more and more wounded animals. The game runs, sometimes for many miles, wounded and suffering. This is what I hope to help end.
I sat down to come up with a new and improved idea for a redesigned hunting arrow. I've worked on the design for about a year now and I've personally searched extensively on the USPTO's website to see if there were similar ideas out there already. I've found nothing like my idea.
My design would lessen the suffering of game wounded with less-than-true shots. The arrow design is practical, relatively low cost, and legal in all states that allow archery hunting. The design allows for a much faster downing of the animal, greatly reducing the suffering.
I am attempting to raise funds to have a proper patent drawn up, CAD drawings, filing fees, as well as building a more professional prototype, packaging, and marketing.
Thank you for your consideration.
